Keen-eyed observers have probably already noticed Christmas decorations starting to crop up in the shops, and though it’s only September, the countdown to the end of the year has begun in earnest.
In terms of the property calendar, the beginning of spring is like a ticking clock for sellers hoping to sell before Christmas which is roughly 100 days away.
The majority of auction campaigns involve two to three weeks of preparation (contracts, photography, design and printing of marketing material) then a four week sales campaign that culminates in the auction.
This means if you were to get your sales campaign started by late September, you’d be looking at a late November auction date.
Don’t let time get away from you. The prime auction weekends for October/November are filling fast.
