Western suburbs entered the spotlight this autumn

When I think of ‘the west’ I think of cowboy hats, pioneers, big adventures.

And although the hats are missing, we too have gone west this year when we welcomed our network’s 10th agency – Altona.

Led by the highly experienced trio of Wayne Elly, Bob Dymalovski and Arthur Kokkinos, let me tell you our newest franchise has jumped in with guns blazing and wasted no time telling locals it’s here.

Every week our team reports growing inquiry levels from homeowners in Altona, Laverton, Hoppers Crossing and surrounds – and buyers desperately wanting properties in these highly attractive and accessible suburbs.

Altona, 13 kilometres from the CBD, is certainly proving its claim to being one of western Melbourne’s most dynamic suburbs to live, work and invest.

And it’s not just me saying that.

With a median house price of $766,805 and listings only lasting 35 days on average, according to the Real Estate Institute of Victoria, Altona is clearly seen as offering excellent value for money to those who know you cannot buy that close to the east of the city for much less than double the price.

Perfectly located to capitalise on our market’s unstoppable thirst for well located and serviced housing, I believe we’ll be hearing a lot more Hobsons Bay real estate in years to come.

Now where’s my horse…?

Call us today for a chat about your suburb’s market outlook this winter.
